About the Role

We are looking for strong, independent software developers to assist with multiple ongoing projects. These roles will provide ample opportunity to learn and excel not only within Bannockburn but in the technology industry as a whole. Every project is a unique challenge that will keep you on your toes and activate different skills in your toolkit.
The role mainly consists of the following:

• Developing innovative solutions to tackle big industry problems
• Working collaboratively with a team of developers, designers, and product owners to develop and evolve features
• Writing well designed, scalable, reliable, testable, and reusable code by using best software development practices, clean code, and solid principles
• Helping to guide and mentor team members towards achieving the overall goal

About You

Required skills:

• 3+ years of related full-stack experience building scalable, enterprise-level technological solutions
• Backend: Python, Node.JS, .NET, Java Spring boot
• Frontend: Vue, React, Angular
• Mobile: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native
• Advanced experience with cloud-native services such as AWS lambdas, Google Cloud functions, Azure functions, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS, Docker, RDS
• Well-rounded knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred skills/traits:

• You have experience working with the following products:
• AMPQ/RabbitMQ
• Kafka
• Apache Spark
• Mulesoft
• Solr/Elastic
• Splunk
• API Gateway/Apigee
• You have experience with modern database and storage (E.g. Postgres, MySQL, NoSQL)
• You have experience creating and developing GraphQL and RESTful APIs
• You have a passion for driving success within a team and proven results
• You have a passion for technology, and you enjoy learning new methods to solve complex problems
• Knowledge of software architecture design patterns
• Experience with dev-ops, cloud infrastructure, and end-to-end product development and deployment
